Spare Workspace is an Australian online marketplace and tool that allows businesses to share their unused workspace with other businesses that require flexible and affordable workspace. We help business’s with spare workspace to find guests, take payments and organise agreements via our online platform. It’s easy, simple and a great way to earn money from the workspace you’re not using.

What can I list?
If you have a workspace, you can list it with Spare Workspace. We accept listings for all types of workspaces including single desks, meeting rooms, event space and warehousing. We also cater for non-office related workspaces such as kitchens, fitness studios, hair and beauty salons. If the space can be used as a workspace, it can be listed!
How much is it to list my workspace?

Why is it free to list? Can I list more than one workspace?
We’re focused on helping you find a guest and accept bookings. We believe that we should only be paid when we successfully help you fill your spare workspace and the best part is we don’t charge an advertising fee. It’s a win-win for everyone, which is exactly how it should be.
How and when do I get paid?
Your payout will be transferred into your nominated bank account 3 business days after your guest checks-in.
I’m a co-working space or serviced office - How does Spare Workspace help me?
Our platform was designed and developed for short-term workspace providers such as Co-Working spaces and Serviced Offices. We understand that running a shared workspace can be time consuming so we’ve created powerful tools to automate as much of the administration process as possible including automatic direct debiting, online guest directory, group announcements (to name a few). Can anyone book or can I review first? What control do I have over bookings?
You can decide whether bookings are instantly booked or require your approval, which gives you complete control over your workspace. You also have control over pricing, availability and cancellation policies.
Do I need to collect payments, send invoice or organise agreements etc?
No. We handle payments, invoices and agreements for you, making it simple and easy for hosts and guests.

What types of Spare Workspace can I book?
You can book a desk, office, meeting room, warehouse, event space, medical centre room, fitness studio… the list goes on! As we continue to grow, we’ll have more available workspaces in your area.
How do I book a workspace?
You can make a secure booking via our online marketplace. Simply search and find a workspace, create an account and make payment. It’s that simple.
Can I book by the hour, day or month?
Yes. Workspaces can be booked for as little as an hour and as long as 12 months, giving you both flexibility and affordability.
Why do other Guests book a workspace?
Guests like you love the flexibility and the affordable nature of using a short-term workspace. Not only do they save money, they also have the flexibility to change workspaces depending on their circumstances. Another reason is guests prefer to be working in a collaborative environment, sharing resources and working with others.
How safe is Spare Workspace?
We take security and your safety serious. Our platform is secured by a 128-bit SSL certificate from Norton Symantec and hosted on the Microsoft Azure Platform. We also don’t store credit or debit card details on our server, instead using the highly-secure tokenised software by Melbourne based payment gateway, PIN Payments.
